Will you answer their cry for help?
When RSPCA Inspectors attended a Northern suburbs property in response to a cruelty report, they were horrified by what they found…
“It was overwhelming - the sheer number of animals on the property, the mix of species, and the hazardous conditions.” - RSPCA Inspector Emma
The house was littered with rubbish, and bird droppings coated every surface.
Two seven-week-old puppies whimpered in a pen with no food or water. Cats screeched from tiny enclosures, while lethargic possums silently suffered in cages.
An injured duck waddled into view. Squawking from inside a closed box revealed a traumatised, trapped lorikeet. And that was just one room.
The team seized a whopping 57 animals that day - two puppies, 17 cats, two rabbits, one lizard, three possums, one duck and 31 birds.
These animals were given second chances, thanks to your kindness. But there are still many animals across South Australia right now who are being denied their basic needs.
Will you make a loving gift today to help restore dignity, comfort and hope to an animal suffering in squalor?
You can help give animals everything they need and deserve – from timely veterinary treatment to a safe, clean environment in which they can thrive.
Without you, misery wins. With you, hope begins.
Thank you to these big-hearted animal lovers!
